The National Thermal Power Corporation exam is conducted for the engineering student. The eligibility criteria for the National Thermal Power Corporation exam is given below:

Educational Qualification:

A. For Engineering Executive Trainee (EET) :
Candidates having degree of B.E/B.Tech and minimum percentage of 55% marks are eligible to apply for the exam.

B. For Executive Trainee – Human Resource (ET HR) :
Candidate should be a Graduate to apply for the exam.

Candidate having at least 2 yrs of full time post graduate degree / Post graduate diploma/ Post graduate program in Management are also eligible.

Candidate should have at least 65% aggregate marks.


Age limit :
A. Engineering Executive Trainee (EET)
The candidate for this entry should not be more then 27 years.
Candidate having post graduation is a relaxation in age of 2 years.

B.Executive Trainee – Human Resource (ET HR) & Executive Trainee – Finance (ET-Fin) :
The candidate applying for this should not be more then 29 years.

So you need the above eligibility criteria to apply for the NTPC exam.

NTPC conduct a exam to fullfil the post of -Executive Trainees,Electrical,Mechanical,Civil,Control & Instrumentation,Human Resource and Finance.

Gm. sir i am persuaing mba(hr and marketing), it will be completed in the year of 2011 dec. and sir i am 29 yr. old and i have completed gradutation in BSc. biology with 52% . could i applicable for the ntpc exms.

NTPC Exam Eligibility:

Educational Eligibility: Min. 55% marks for SC, ST and Physically Challenged & 65% marks for others.

• Age Eligibility:
• For EET: Max. 27 years as on 01/01/2010 i.e. examinees born before 01/01/82 is not qualified. This age limit is relaxed by 2 years for the examinees with Post graduation degree.
• For ET-HR & ET-Fin: Max. 29 years as on 01/01/2010 i.e. examinees born before 01/01/80 is not qualified.
  Max. age limit is relaxed through 5 years for SC/ST & 3 years for OBC.

National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) is the Asia’s one of the largest power producing organization.It is India’s largest power supply company.

The exam is conducted for Engineering Executive Trainee and Executive Trainee Human Resource.

Eligibility:

Engineering Executive Trainee (EET):

The candidates must have not more than 27 years and as far regarding the education qualification you must have Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology with at least 65% aggregate marks.

Executive Trainee Human Resource (ET HR)

The candidates must have not more than 29 years and The candidate should be a Graduate with at least 2 yrs of full time post graduate degree / Post graduate diploma/ Post graduate program in Management with specialization in Human Resource / Industrial relations / Personnel Management or Masters in Social work with 65% aggregate.

For Executive Trainee the pattern is that the candidates should have to write 2 papers and they are:

Aptitude Test

Technical test

Aptitude Test will be a objective type paper consisting of 35 questions and they will be of the type synonyms, antonyms, word analogies, aptitude problem solving skills, comprehension passages, fill in the sentence with most suitable word.

Technical test will be on the basis of the candidates stream and there will be 55 questions in this exam.

The total duration of the exam is 1 1/2 hours.
