IES Stands for Indian Engineering Service Examination and this examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission .

This exam is conducted for admission to :-

~~ Civil Engineering
~~ Mechanical Engineering
~~ Electrical Engineering
~~ Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering .

IES Exam , 2012 :-

~~ Last date for receipt of application :- 09/04/12
~~ Date of examination :- 15/06/12

Engineering Service Examination has been already completed . So you can't apply for this examination but Next announcement will be published Soon .

You can expect the notification in the period of February or March in the official website of Union Public Service Commission as well as employment news paper .

>> You must have a Engineering degree of a reputed Institution .

>> Lower limit of Age is 21 years and Higher limit of Age is 30 years .

>> SC/ST - 5 years , OBC - 3 years , Ex-Servicemen - 5 years , PWD - 10 years .

>> Final year of engineering degree may also eligible to apply for this examination .
