hi..sir me shubham mahawar i hve complted 12 frm UP BOARD i m instrsted to join merchant navy so plz guide me hw to join merchant navy.....thnk u.......

I can give the total eligibility of the Merchant Navy:

you have two choices there..................

Nautical science and Marine engineering
Navigational and Engineering fields of Merchant Navy

The eligibility:

Nautical science and Marine engineering:
Educational Qualification : You should have passed your 10+2 or an equivalent examination with physics, chemistry and mathematics.

Navigational and Engineering fields of Merchant Navy:
Educational Qualification : You must complete a Bachelors degree in Nautical Science or Marine engineering.

Age : Age should not be more than 20 years. Those belonging to the SC/ST have this rule relaxed by about 5 yrs.

Selection : Selection is based on the Joint Entrance Examination given by the IIT.

No it is not possible for you to join merchant navy after completing 10+2 with PCB.The qualification required to join merchant navy is to have studied physics,chemistry and mathematics in intermediate,that is with pure science stream/branch in intermediate.Only those who have studied physics,chemistry and mathematics in intermediate can join merchant navy.

The courses such as B.SC in nautical science is a course to have study and join merchant navy,requires to have physics,chemistry and mathematics in intermediate with minimum 60% marks in all three.

Apart from that, B.TECH in marine engineering which is a course for joining merchant navy,similarly requires to have physics,chemistry and mathematics
in intermediate and appear for engineering entrance exam before studying the course for four years.

One more course of mechanical engineering also have the same requirement as that of nautical science,marine engineering.As you have studied physics,chemistry and biology in intermediate,it is not possible for you to join merchant navy.
