How do i join merchant navy after graduation from B.COM strem and as i heard that fat boys are not allowed to join merchant navy is that truth if (yes) than why ? In merchant navy their no man who is fat or they are physically disturb ? SIR , i am passionate , i am challenging , i am jolly , i am having the talent in languages like UK US bengali hindi oriya and mamy more ? so tell me why i cant join the merchant navy ?

In order to join in the flying branch of Air force, one should have completed his graduation.

Here i am providing the various modes through which one can make his entry into the flying branch of Airforce.

1) Combined Defence Services Examination (CDSE)

Eligibility :
-Unmarried male
-Belong to age group of 19-23 years
-Should of Indian
-Should have completed his graduation from a recognized university (with Physics, Mathematics, at 10+2)
-Final year students can also apply

2)National Cadet Corps Special Entry (Through CO NCC Unit / DG NCC)
As a air Wing Senior division 'C' certificate holder of the National Cadet Corps, you can apply to flying branch.

Remaining eligibility criteria would be the same as the above mode of entry.

I am about to complete my graduation , and I am planning to join Indian Army , I want to choose Indian Navy or I would opt for Indian Officers Posts in Indian Army ...
Can Any One Guide Me the criteria and eligibility of joining them , I would be proud serving our country ... Can I join merchant navy after my graduations too ??

Eligibility criteria and selection process for Merchant Navy are As Under

To apply for jobs in Merchant Navy click the link http://www.merchantnavy.co/

You will be given 350-450 USD Per Month.

Your maximum should be 27 years.

Your 12th marks should be at least 60% with PCM & B.E or B.Tech marks at least 50%.

The Physical Standard are as follows:
Normal Eye Sight,Minimum 154 cm. height & physically fit

Eligibility for the merchant navy:

1.you must have complete the 12th with physics,chemistry,math .
2.you should need to complete the ship traning course before the job in the merchant navy.
3.you must be indian.
4.eye sight should be normal. but with the 2.5 glasses eyesight also allowed.

Selection process:
you can be selected for the merchant navy through the written test and the interview.
you should pass the medical fitness test for the sea services.

Merchant navy is the that filed of navy where you are to deal with the exports and the imports of the goods at a large scale.
Generally young and dynamic candidates are employed with the merchant navy and for the time you are hired you are given an healthy salary.
You can join merchant navy through two fields:
Nautical science and Marine engineering field
Navigational fields
Now since both the fields are different the eligibility for both of them is also different:
now the field in which you should be interested is Nautical science and Marine engineering field as you can do this after 12 th.
eligibility criteria for Nautical science and Marine engineering:
Educational Qualification : You should have passed your 10+2 or an equivalent examination with physics, chemistry and mathematics.
you must be Indian citizen.
Age limit for candidates is 16 years to 19.5 years while training.
If you are filling the eligibility criteria then you can go for the exam.

Let me start by saying that you are not eligible for Merchant Navy. And at this moment I am not even considering your physical criteria. To be eligible for the Merchant Navy, the candidate should be from science stream.

Only after completing 12th standard with Physics, Chemistry and Maths you can apply for the Merchant navy. The students of commerce and arts stream are not eligible for the Merchant Navy.

Therefore you can not join Merchant Navy. I am really sorry about that. The candidates who have completed 12th with PCM can apply for deck cadet. Such candidates have to complete a 3 months long pre sea course which is generally arranged by the company.

For officer level jobs there is a need to study further. The candidate will have to complete graduation to get officer level well paid jobs in merchant navy. The courses one will have to apply for are B.Sc Nautical Science or Marine Engineering.


Eligibility

1. Must have completed 12th with PCM.

2. Should not be older than 20 years.

3. SC and ST can apply till 25 years.

4. Candidate should be unmarried.

5. There are some physical requirements to meet.

6. Take either Nautical Science course or the Marine Engineering.


Once the aspirant has completed either of the two courses, he/she can apply for good offer level jobs in Merchant Navy.

Candidates who have completed B.Tech in Mechanical/Electrical/Technology are also eligible for jobs in Merchant Navy. They will have to complete 9 months long pre sea course in Marine Engineering from MERI before applying for the job.

obviously you canjoin navy after b.com.a minimum age to join navy is 18.you asked about physical fitness to join navy.obviously there r some phisical fitness critera.as per my knowledge your height should beabove 5.5ft,your chest 162cm,ur weight not less than 5kg. so my dear friend if u have this phisical criteria ,obviously u can join navy.
