Hello Sir or Madam, I have done my 12th with 78% in arts stream in 2016 and in 10th class I got 72%. Now I got bands of 5.5 overall. In Lis= 5 reading = 5, and writing = 6 speaking=5.5. So, could you tell me can I get visa from Canada.

Yes, with 5.5 bands in IELTS (International English Language Testing System) you can get education visa of some Canadian Universities. But in order to get education visa from very good reputed universities of Canada, you must have to secure an IELTS band of 6, 6.5 and above.

For getting undergraduate diploma admission and visa in Canada universities, IELTS score required is not less than 5.5 in all bands. For bachelor’s degree courses in Canadian universities, IELTS score required is 6.5 with no band less than 6.0 minimum. Therefore, with an IELTS score of overall 5.5 bands, it is very difficult to get visas for Canada. You have to reappear for the IELTS examination and score high bands. It is best to score at least 6.5 bands in IELTS with no bands less than 6.0 for taking admission and visa in Canada.
