Can a Indian citizen graduated from foreign university or college will be eligible for IAS?

Yes, the eligibility criteria for UPSC Civil Services Exam is the candidate should be a citizen of India and should be a graduate from a recognized university.

If you fulfill the above mentioned criteria, the candidate is eligible for IAS Exam.

Can Indian citizen from foreign university or college will be eligible for IAS?

Yes, your degree is valid, but you need to get an equivalent certificate from ASSOCIATION OF INDIAN UNIVERSITIES . Essentially, once you get your degree from the US or any foreign university, go to the High Commission of India in that country and get the photocopy of your US/foreign degree attested by them.

There are no limitations imposed by UPSC for the foreign graduates in there notification.

Foreign degree is valid but candidate needs to get an equivalent certificate from ASSOCIATION OF INDIAN UNIVERSITIES .

Once they get degree from US or any foreign university , go to the High Commission of India in that country and get the photocopy of foreign degree attested by them.
