Respected Sir, I want to secure an admission in Master in Computational Science and Engineering in UMEA University. I would like to know about the structure of this course. So, can you tell me the structure and the duration also of this course?

Master in Computational Science and Engineering* comprises two years of study (120 ECTS credits), including the 30 credit master thesis project. Course structure is as follows:

>Semester 1: (four compulsory courses):

Matrix Computations and Applications
Modelling and Simulation
Engineering Optimization
Numerical Methods for Partial Differential Equations

>Semester (2 and 3) consists of selected courses that will provide specialized skills in a select sub-field of CSE.

>Semester 4: Work on thesis project.
