Although ACT or SAT exam is not required for international undergraduate admission in Michigan State University. Michigan State University encourages students to submit one of these exam scores if possible.

For taking admission to Michigan State University, candidates have to clear the following examinations:

TOEFL – Internet based test – score of 79 with no sub score below 17
TOEFL – Paper based test – score of 550 with no sub score below 52
Or
IELTS – score of 6.5 or higher

SAT Critical Rating – score of 480 (old SAT) or evidence based reading and writing score of 510 (new SAT)

ACT Exam – Sub score of 18 or higher on the English section
