It is good to see you aspire for higher studies,i.e, MS degree course in CS abroad. You can definitely pursue your MS degree course in the top notch universities of Canada and USA. In order to get admission in the universities of Canada and USA, you need to appear and score well in the following two exams :-
- GRE - TOEFL or IELTS Refer books like The Official Guide to the GRE Revised General Test, OFFICIAL GUIDE TO TOEFL TEST, Cambridge IELTS 9 Self study pack, etc. for good preparation. You need to have a good academic record to make your position strong during admission. Hence it is recommended that you have more than 70% in your engineering. However, there is no bar on the percentage as such, keeping 60% is enough. For getting scholarship, you need to keep more than 160 in quantitative, verbal ability and 4.5 in writing skills of GRE exam and above 100 in TOEFL. The scholarship amount usually varied. The general cost of your course would be 6000-7500$ per semester and 250-500$ living cost per month. There is no alternative way of getting admission in the top universities apart from scoring well in the entrance exams. The top universities of Canada are:- -University of Toronto -University of British Columbia -Simon Fraser University -University of Alberta -McGill University -University of Calgary -University of Waterloo -Université de Montréal -York University -University of Saskatchewan -McMaster University -University of Western Ontario The top universities of USA are:- 1. MIT CAMBRIDGE 2. Stanford University 3. University Of California-Berkeley 4. Carnegie Mellon University 5. Cornell University 6. Princeton University 7. California Institute Technology 8. University Of Texas At Austin 9. Harvard University 10. Univ Of Illinois At Urbana,Champaig 11. University Of Wisconsin-Madison 12. Univ Of California,Los Angeles |
