Degree in the field of medical of foreign institutes are not recognized by Medical Council of India directly. This is done to keep the health standard of the country good and ensure license is provided in the proper hands. You need to appear in the screening exam conducted by MCI in order to get license and practice in India, in short, your degree in foreign institute will be valuable in India only if you clear the screening exam of MCI.
