What should I study after 10th to become a Scientist or an Astronaut in ISRO?
Respected Sir, I am studying in 10th class in Oxford School, Visakhapatnam, Vizag. I have a keen desire to get a Scientist or an Astronaut in ISRO. But I don't know how to get to an Astronaut there and I also don't know that what I can study after 10th. Can you please guide me through this?

If a candidate want to become an astronaut then they have to select science stream PCM after 10th.
After that they are required to complete their class 12th and bachelor's degree from a recognised university with physics, maths, chemistry and biology . After 12th you may start preparing for JEE Main and advanced and you may take admission in IIST which is closest to ISRO and go for Aerospace engineering. Then you have to go for medical conducted by NASA for astronaut qualification and then have to attend personal interview. And then they are required to attend 1 year training before they actually start working as an astronaut. |

A scientist career is a research based profession. You need to complete 10+2 in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (optional) from a recognised board. Further, you may opt for a BSc in specialised branch of science you can pursue BSc in physics, chemistry or biology or any other relevant specialisation that interests you.
