ICET is an entrance exam for admission in courses of MCA and MBA in the private colleges of India. Examination of this paper is very popular among the students as it gives a chance to get admission in any of the private funded colleges in India. MCA is the higher and advance studies in the field of computer application and MBA is the study of Business administration.

Qualification for appearing in this exam:

Students who are applying for the paper must be a graduate from any stream at the time of admission. Also, students who are in final year of the qualifying exam but will be a graduate in time can sit in the examination.

Scoring and Negative Marking:

Each question carries same marks in it and there are no negative marking in the paper and this contains only objective type questions.

Mode of Exam:

Questions asked are of multiple choices type and student should answer these questions in an OMR sheet which is provided.

Format:

Questions asked carries same marks and also these questions are of same marks and questions are asked in 2 sections as Arithmetical Ability and Algebra & Geometrical Ability.

Paper Pattern:

Paper of Mathematical Ability contains 75 questions in it and each question carries same marks. The questions are divided into 3 sections; Arithmetical Ability, Algebra &Geometrical Ability and Statistical Ability. Generally there are 35 questions from Arithmetical Ability, 30 questions from Algebra and Geometrical Ability and 10 questions from Statistical Ability. There is no rule of negative marks for wrong answers.

Marking:

Paper contains questions which are of same marks and students will get a golden chance to score full marks in this paper. Questions don’t contain negative marking in it and students are advised to attempt all the questions.

Schedule:

Paper is needed to be finished in 75 minutes.
