Lakshmi Narain College of Technology, shortly called as LNCT was established in the year 2004 and the courses offered by the institution are approved by All India Council for Technical Education and Rajiv Gandhi Technical University located in Madhya Pradesh.

Intake Capacity:

For MBA and MCA courses, the institution has an intake capacity of 60 students each and for B. E courses, its intake capacity is 120 students each for electronics & telecommunication and computer science & engineering, 30 each for information technology and mechanical engineering and 90 for electrical & electronics engineering.

Admission Procedure:

Admission to the MBA course is done based on the performance of the students in Management Entrance Test conducted by the Association of Indian Management Schools or by the Professional Examination Board of the Madhya Pradesh State (MET) called as Vyavasayik Pariksha Madal or VYAPAM. For MCA courses, admission is done based on the marks secured by the students in the Pre-MCA Test, which is a combined examination conducted by VYAPAM. For engineering courses, admission is done on the basis of Pre-Engineering Test shortly called as PET conducted by VYAPAM and also candidates, who have AIEEE score are also eligible for admission.

Educational Qualification:

For applying to the entrance examination conducted for engineering courses, candidates must have completed their 10+2 from the Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Examination or any other recognized board with mathematics, physics and chemistry as main subjects. For MCA and MBA course entrance test admission, candidates must be graduates in any discipline from any Indian or foreign university and for MCA alone they must have studied mathematics as additional or compulsory subject.
