Master of Engineering in Thermal Engineering is a postgraduate level course in engineering. The duration of the course is 2 years. The course is offered in 4 semesters of 6 months each. The course study covers details on diverse aspects of thermodynamics and the ways to control heat and temperature. The course curriculum educates students with various aspects of thermal design and thermal testing process. Thermal engineering can usually find application in designing thermal control system, which in turn is used in spacecraft operation, cryogenic coolers, and so on. Remuneration after Master of Engineering in Thermal Engineering
The candidates are appointed to junior level positions at the entry level. The salary packages offered for entry-level candidates are low when compared to that of an experienced one. The initial level salary package for the candidate may fall with in the range of Rs. 20,000/- to Rs. 30,000/- per month. By gaining one-year experience in the job, the salary packages may raise up to the level of not less Rs. 40,000/- per month. The lecturers/professors in private colleges are offered with salary packages up to Rs. 20,000/- to Rs. 25,000/- per month and not less than Rs. 40,000/- per month in government colleges.
