Uttaranchal Gramin Bank came into existence in the year 2006 on the 30th of June by the Government of India. The bank has its head office in the city of Dehradun, which is the capital city of the state of Uttaranchal. The major areas of operations of the bank is spread over seven districts of the state.

Recruitment by Uttaranchal Gramin Bank:

Uttaranchal Gramin Bank has called for online applications from eligible Indian citizens for the position of Office Assistant and the details regarding the notification issued by the bank in this respect are given below:

Name of the Vacancy: Office Assistants (Post Code: 02)

Number of Vacancies: Total number of vacancies is 53, which is divided among the different categories of candidates as follows:

General – 34

OBC – 07

ST – 02

SC – 10

Of these 53 posts, five posts are reserved for Ex-servicemen candidates

Period of Probation – Period of Probation for Office Assistant Position is 12 months.

Pay Scale: Appointed candidates will be coming under the pay scale of Rs.7200-400/3-8400-500/3-9900-600/4-12300-700/7-17200-1300/1-18500-800/1-19300.

Eligibility requirements:

Educational qualification: To apply for the position of Office Assistant in Uttaranchal Gramin Bank, candidates must be graduates in any discipline from a recognized university and they should be proficient in Hindi. Desirable qualification is knowledge of computers and candidates must possess knowledge of English as well.

Selection Procedure:

Selection will be based on the performance of candidates in written test and interview. The written test for the position of Office Assistant is proposed to be held on 12th of February 2012.

Cost of application:

The application fee to be paid by SC/ST/person with disability is Rs.75 and the amount to be paid by other candidate is Rs.325. This amount should be paid by the candidates through either Uttaranchal Gramin Bank challan - 02 or SBI challan - 02 that can be obtained from the website of Uttaranchal Gramin Bank at www.uttaranchalbank.in. After filling in the required details in the challan form, the fee should be paid either through UG bank or SBI.  Once the fee is paid, candidates will have to retain the candidate copy of the challan to be produced at the time of written test. Application fee should be paid between 7th November 2011 to 10th December 2011.

How to apply:

Candidates will have to apply online through the website of the bank at www.uttaranchalbank.in between 5th of December and 30th of December 2011.
