An Orthotist is a professional who specializes in the manufacture of orthopedic appliance which props up or correct the musculoskeletal distortions or deformities of the human body. Candidates who aspire to become Orthotists must have a pass in class 120+2 with Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics in addition to Physics. They must be no less than 17 years and not more than 23 years when they apply for the course. The age limit may sometimes change according to the rules of the respective institutions.
