SR Engineering College is one among the new generation colleges set up in the year of 2002. This autonomous institution is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University and is approved by AICTE. Under graduate courses like B.Tech in Civil Engineering, B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering and B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering are offered by the institute. RITES Limited has invited applications for the recruitment of Graduate Executive Trainee (GET) till October 20, 2012. Engineering graduates having 60% marks are eligible to join this recruitment drive. Selection process for required candidates is done through a written exam followed by interview. There will be general aptitude as well as subject related questions for the written test. Only those candidates who are competent with technical subjects will be considered for interview.
Candidates who have completed HSC course can seek admission to Diploma in Education (D.Ed) course in Andhra Pradesh via a common entrance test, DIET CET. This two hour entrance test is conducted in 23 districts of the state. Those who qualify the test can look for admission to the course in Government District Institutes of Educational Training (DIETs) and Private Elementary Teacher Training Institutions in the state.
