Indian Institute of Technology Delhi offers M. Tech degree in Civil Engineering in various specializations. The course is offered in subjects such as Transportation Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, Marine Geotechnology and Surveying & Remote Sensing. All the courses are offered on part time as well full time basis. Admission is carried out on the basis of GATE exam as well as marks obtained in qualifying exam. Candidates who have work experience of 2 years are eligible to apply for part time admission. Those who have secured 900 marks in GATE exam and 75 % marks in graduation will be given direct admission. Candidates who have first class marks in graduation and GATE score of 720 will have to clear the written test conducted by the Institute for admission.

Recruitment to the post of Management Trainee in Food Corporation of India is carried out on the basis of written test conducted by the Corporation. The written test comprises of two parts. Part I will contain 60 objective type questions from relevant technical subjects. Systematic Agricultural Geography by Husain, M, Economic Botany in the Tropics by Kochar, and Food Microbiology by M R Adams, M.O Moss are some of the books that candidates can rely on for technical questions. Part II will contain 60 multiple choice questions from the following topics. Indian Oil Corporation Limited will be recruiting Graduate Trainee for the intake in 2013 on the basis of GATE score of 2013. The selection procedure comprises of group discussion as well as personal interview. Application process can be done online through the official website of the organization. Those who have qualified in final interview will be appointed as Graduate Trainee with a stipend of Rs. 35,000/- per month. After one year training, they will be appointed as Engineers with pay scale of Rs. 24,900/- per month along with other allowances.

India Post has recently invited applications for the post of Postal Assistant/ Sorting Assistant in various post offices across the country. Higher secondary education with first class marks is the minimum educational qualification required. Applications can be obtained from regional post offices as well as from official website of India Post. Candidates are required to pay Rs. 50/- as application fees. Fee payment should be done through post offices only. Fully filled in applications along with fee payment receipt should be sent to given address within stipulated time.
