Admission to the Engineering courses in AICTE approved Engineering Colleges in Rajasthan is mainly done on the basis of scores obtained in state level entrance test called RPET. Candidates who have passed higher secondary exam with a minimum of 50 % marks in aggregate are eligible for admission. The entrance exam is conducted by Rajasthan Technical University. They should have studied Mathematics as one subject in Higher Secondary. Apart from RPET, candidates who have cleared AIEEE exam can also apply to these colleges. Admission to post graduate courses will be on the basis of GATE scores.

Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering for Electronics and Electrical engineering will contain questions from topics studied in graduate level engineering course. Apart from these, there will be questions from general Aptitude as well as engineering mathematics. National Law Institute is a premier institute offering legal education over the last 5 decades. The institute offers online certificate courses, PG Diploma Courses, and LLM. Admission to regular and part time LLM courses is done on the basis of a written test namely Common Admission Test (CAT). The questions in the test would be from topics like Constitutional law, Jurisprudence, Law Act, etc. Applications for attending the test can be submitted via online or postal method.
National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) formerly known as DOEACC Center, Calicut offers M.Tech programs in streams of Embedded Systems (ES) and Electronics Design Technology (EDT). Engineering graduates in streams like Electronics and Communication, Electrical and Electronics, and Electronics and Instrumentation are eligible to apply. Admission is offered on the basis of GATE score.

Candidates who have completed higher secondary can join MBA programme directly through integrated MBA course. The duration of the course is five years. Candidates who have secured a minimum of 50 % aggregate marks in higher secondary examination are eligible to apply for this course. Most of the institutes conduct integrated MBA along with B.Tech courses. Upper age limit for the course is 21 years. IITs, Birla institute of Technology & Science and Vellore Institute of Technology are the well known institutions that offer this programme. Admission to the course is carried out on the scores obtained in entrance examination, group discussion and personal interview. JEE, NMAT are some of the national level entrance exam for this course.
Indian nationals, subjects of Nepal/Bhutan, Tibetan refugees, etc can apply for the job profile of Sub Inspector (Executive) in Delhi Police. Graduates satisfying specific physical/medical requirements can get recruited to the job by qualifying the written exam conducted by SSC. Candidates having qualified written examination must pass medical/fitness test and interview to get selected.
B.Ed Colleges affiliated to Manonmaniam Sundaranar University are mainly located in districts of Kanyakumari, Thoothukudi, and Tirunelveli.
