Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) conducts a national level entrance test for the selection of candidates to the MBBS course. Exam centers would be in major cities like Kolkota, Chennai, Bangalore, Mumbai, Pune, etc. Exam center can be chosen by the candidate according to their convenience/preference. This must be done at the time of submission of application, in which one can give three different choices of exam centers.

Tuition Fee for the course in Osmania University amounts to Rs. 88,000/- per annum. For merit seats in Gujarat Forensic Sciences University (GFSU), one must pay tuition fee of Rs.35, 000/- per semester.

Manipal University carries out admission of candidates to second year of engineering course through an entrance exam. Diploma holders in Information Technology or Computer Science can appear for lateral entry test in IT. Test will be based on the syllabus covered under diploma course in Information Technology. There will be two sections for the test, Section I and Section II. B.B.A.LL.B and B.A.L.L.B are the two integrated under graduate level courses offered at Symbiosis Law School (SLS), Pune. Intake capacity for B.A.LL.B course is 50 and that for B.B.A.LL.B is 150. Admission to these courses is offered on the basis of entrance test, group discussion (GD) and personal interview (PI). Applications for entrance exam (SET) can be forwarded through the official portal of SET and that for GD, and PI through the official portal of SLS. Selected candidates can pursue the course by paying a fee of Rs. 1, 30,000/- per annum.
Thapar University, Pune University, Shivaji University, etc carry out entrance test for selecting candidates to M.Sc in Microbiology course. Apart from these Universities, colleges like Modern College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Abasaheb Garware College, etc also conducts entrance tests for selection process. Eligibility Criteria and exam pattern for entrance test varies with each University/Institute.
