Rajasthan Technical University offers under graduation programmes in various branches of Engineering. The university conducts Bachelor in engineering programmes under five departments. Admission to all engineering courses is based on the composite score obtained by the candidate in the common entrance exam conducted by the University. Candidates with a minimum of 45% marks in higher secondary examination are eligible to apply.

Himachal Pradesh State Combined Management Aptitude Test (HP- CMAT) is conducted by the Institute of Management Studies, Himachal Pradesh University. The common entrance examination is conducted for admission to the Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme in all the Institutions/ universities affiliated to Universities in Himachal Pradesh. Candidates who have completed their graduation in any discipline from a recognized university are eligible to apply for the entrance exam. Candidates should have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in the qualifying examination. Those appearing for the final year examination are also eligible to apply.
Bachelor of Science in Microbiology is one of the most popular courses in Microbiology at under graduate level. Apart from this, one can pursue courses like Bachelor of Science in Industrial Microbiology, Bachelor of Science in Medical Microbiology, Bachelor of Science in Clinical Microbiology, etc in India. Those who are interested to study abroad can look for courses like Bachelor of Science in Genetics and Microbiology, Bachelor of Science in Medical Microbiology with Biochemistry, Bachelor of Science in Microbial Biotechnology, etc.
Birsa Agricultural University, Punjab Agricultural University, Sam Higginbottom Institute of Agriculture Technology and Sciences, etc are some of the reputed institutions offering M.Sc in Forestry. Only limited number of seats are available in most of the colleges. Admission of candidates is done mainly on the basis of written tests. Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) conducts common examination for the post of drug inspector. Candidates having graduation in Pharmacy/ Pharmaceutical Drugs/ Microbiology from a recognized University are eligible to apply for the exam. The exam will have objective type questions.
