BITS Admission Test or BITSAT is a computer based online exam for admission to Integrated Degree programmes of Birla Institute of Technology and Science. This All India Exam follows the objective based multiple choice question format where candidates are required to answer 150 questions in 180 minutes. There are various examination centers across India and in Dubai.
National Power Training Institute (NPTI) offers admission to Post Graduate Diploma in Thermal Power Plant Engineering, through a national level entrance test. Engineering graduates from streams of Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, etc are eligible to attend the test. General Aptitude, General Engineering and Technical knowledge of the candidate are basically evaluated via this CET. Those who get through the test should undergo a counseling process to confirm final selection.
Coaching classes in Resonance Institute are divided into different types such as Pre-foundation Career Care Programmes (PCCP) and Yearlong Classroom Contact Programmes (YCCP). PCCP courses will have one year duration while YCCP courses can be completed on yearly or monthly basis. Admission to B.Tech courses and M.Tech courses in Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology (SVNIT) are offered on the basis of AIEEE and GATE score respectively. One can seek admission to integrated M.Sc courses on the basis of CATS exam. Eligible candidates should attend the counselling section carried out by the institute to get admission to Ph.D course.

Junior Basic Training (JBT) is a diploma level course with a duration of 2 years. Child Development, Educational Technology, Teaching of Mathematics, etc are some of the areas covered under this course. Admission to the course is offered either on the basis of qualifying HSC exam or by entrance test. JBT CET is the entrance test held by Himachal Pradesh Board of Education for admission to this course. After pursuing the course, one can apply for the position of teacher in primary or middle schools. They can also work in the role of Student Counsellors, Educational Administrators, etc.
