Karnataka State Eligibility Test (K-SET) in conducted for determining eligible candidates for Lectureship in various Universities/institutes of Karnataka. Topics like Geomorphology, Oceanography, Population Geography, and Regional Planning are covered under the written test. Fee structure for B.Tech degree in Inderprastha Engineering College (IPEC) is slightly different from that of MBA. Total fee for B.Tech during first year is Rs. 1, 12,100/-. In subsequent years, total fee for pursing this course is Rs. 86,000/-, Rs. 89,500/-, and Rs. 91,200/-. MBA, being a two year course, total fee for first and second year are Rs. 1, 15, 600/- and Rs. 91,200/-respectively.

IBSAT is an online aptitude test conducted by the ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education University. The exam is conducted for admission to MBA/PGPM/PhD programs in IBS Hyderabad. Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks is the qualification required for MBA/PGDM. Post graduates in Management with specialization in subjects such as Human Resource Management, Marketing, Finance, and Operations are eligible for admission to Ph.D programme. IBSAT comprise questions from topics such as Data Sufficiency, Data Interpretation, Quantitative Ability, and reading Comprehension.

Under Graduate courses such as B.E in ECE, B.Tech in Information Technology, and B.Arch are offered at Thiagarajar College of Engineering. The institute also offers admission to PG level courses such as M.E in Production Engineering, M. Tech in Environmental Engineering, and MCA. Admission to any of the courses is done through a single window system carried out by the Anna University. Graduates with a minimum of 45% marks can seek admission to MBA degree in Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University (YMOU). Admission process is done on the basis of a common entrance examination conducted by YMOU. Topics on Verbal Ability, Business Data Interpretation, and Business Judgement are asked for the entrance test.
Rajasthan Pre Engineering Test or RPET is conducted by the Board of Technical Education Rajasthan. HSC passed candidates who qualify the entrance test can seek admission to engineering degree, in recognized colleges of Rajasthan. Questions on Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics are asked for this entrance test. Topics like Dynamics of a Particle, Simple Harmonic Motion, Intermolecular Forces, Radiation, Wave Motion and Electrostatics are included under Physics. From chemistry, aspirants can expect questions on Periodic Law, Chemical Bonding, Chemical Kinetics, Acids and Bases, and so on.
