Both ONGC and SAIL conducts written exam and interview for recruiting Security Officers. Graduation is the basic qualification required to attend these examinatons. ONGC often prefers candidates with experience of 2 years (in related jobs) where as SAIL considers aspirants with 15 years of work experience. Security Officer can draw a basic salary package up to 17500/- per month in ONGC and up to Rs. 58000/- per month in SAIL.

Syllabus for BEL Probationary Engineer will include topics on technical and general aptitude. General aptitude session covers topics on reasoning, quantitative aptitude, general awareness, and general English. In technical aptitude paper, one can expect questions from topics studied in the qualifying degree. National Talent Search Examination is conducted exclusively for VIII standard students. The main aim of this examination is to identify extra-ordinary talents and encourage them with scholarship. Mental Ability Test and Scholastic Aptitude Test are the two main stages of this exam. Only multiple choice questions will be asked in Mental Ability Test with four alternatives. But in the case of Scholastic Aptitude Test, there will be questions from a passage, apart from multiple choice type. A minimum of 40 marks (32 marks for SC/ST candidates) is required to qualify in each stage.

Admission fee, Caution deposit, Student’s Union fee, Student’s aid fund fee, etc of all courses in BITS Pilani are the same. Admission fee amounts to Rs. 18,000/- per annum and tuition fees amounts to Rs. 70,000/- per semester. For all campuses of BITS, Pilani caution deposit amount is Rs. 3000/- (for the whole duration of the study). Separate fee is charged from students who are residing in college hostel. They must pay hostel rent, mess and electricity fees, hostel maintenance fee, etc.
University of Kashmir, Guru Govind Singh Indraprastha University, etc are some of the NET exam centers in northern side of India where as Bangalore University, Madurai Kamraj University, Cochin University of Science and Technology, etc are NET exam centers in the South India. Apart from this, the other NET exam centers in other parts of the country are Nagaland University, Jiwaji University and Nagpur University.
Aspirants who intend to pursue M.Sc Marine Biotechnology course can join either Andhra University or Goa University. These are the two main universities that offer M.Sc Marine Biotechnology course in India. Candidates can seek admission to this course on the basis of their score in Andhra University Common Entrance Test (AUCET) or National Combined Entrance Examination in Biotechnology.
