Haryana Public Service Commission was established under the Government of India with the aim of serving the needs of state. The major objective of the commission is to make recruitment on the high level post in Government offices in the state of Haryana. The recruitment of the candidates is made through the conduct of the competitive written examination by Haryana Public Service Commission. The commission is consist of one Chairman and 12 other members. Lt. Geneal (Retd.) Dr. D. P. Vats is the current chairman of the commission. Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital was established in the year 1970 under Government of NCT of Delhi. Initially, the hospital was started with only 50 beds but later it was extended upto 500 beds in the year 1987. The strength of beds were increased to 640 in the year 2008./ The hospital aims to provide specialized services to people of West Delhi. The hospital also imparts training to the Post Graduate and Under Graduate students. The hospital is located in West Delhi. The nearest metro station from the Hospital is Subash Nagar. Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission was established in the year 1937 with its headquarter located at Allahabad. The first ever public service commission was set up in the year 1926. The commission has two examination centres in Allahabad and Lucknow. The commission performs all its works under Uttara Pradesh Public Service Commission Regulation, 1976. Shri. B. B. Singh is the Secretary of the Commission. The commission is consist of a Chairman and eight other members. All the appointments in the commission are made by the Governor of Uttar Pradesh. Those who are looking for a job opportunity after M.A in Sociology can opt for teaching. They can also write Civil Service Aptitude Test (CSAT) and join Indian Civil Services. If they are interested in research field, then they can pursue their career as Research Officer or Junior Research Fellow in Indian Statistical Institute, National Institute of Urban Affairs and Centre for Advanced Research and Development. They can also find jobs in the field of criminology, health, family and child development like Child Development Project Officer, District Probation Officer, Liaison Officer, Rehabilitation Counselor etc.
It is possible to become Private Helicopter Pilot after passing 10th standard or its equivalent by obtaining Private Helicopter Pilot License (PHPL) from Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA). Those who have passed 12th standard with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics can obtain Commercial Helicopter Pilot License (CHPL) from DGCA and become Commercial Helicopter Pilot. Both girls and boys can apply for PHPL and DGCA. Only graduates can become Air Force Pilot through Combined Defense Service Examination, National Cadet Corps Special Entry or Short Service Commission entry.
Candidates can get into the post of Assistant Commandant in Indian Coast Guard after qualifying the Preliminary Selection and Final Selection. Preliminary Selection Board (PSB) will conduct Preliminary Selection rounds such as Mental Ability Test (MAT) and Picture Perception and Discussion Test (PPDT). If the candidates get qualified in the tests, then the Final Selection Board (FSB) will conduct final selection rounds like Psychological Test, Group Test and Interview. Those who have qualified the final selection rounds should undergo medical test at Military Hospital or Air Force Central Medical Establishment (AFCME). Pilot Battery Aptitude Test (PABT) is conducted to recruit candidates for the post of Assistant Commandant Ground Duty (Pilot) apart from Preliminary tests and Final Selection rounds.
