Dr. B.R Ambedkar National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar (NITJ) offers courses such as B.Tech, M.Tech, M.Sc, and Ph.D. Fee structure for full time and part time are different. Tuition Fee for full time B.Tech/M.Tech course is Rs. 17500/- per semester and that for part time M.Tech programme is Rs. 10,000/- per semester. Semester wise fee for Ph.D course is Rs.11750/-.
Staff Selection Commission has invited applications from master degree holders for the post of ‘Junior Translator’. Recruitment will be made to different offices or departments under the Department of Official Language. PG degree from a recognized University in English or Hindi with Hindi/ English as compulsory or elective subject is the basic qualification required. Selection process is made through a written test and interview. Written test is conducted for 400 marks and interview for 100 marks.

Applicants should have a consistent score of 65% marks through out academics. Selection of eligible candidates is made through aptitude/technical test, GD, and interview. Questions on aptitude, reasoning, C, C++, Data Structures, and Operating System are asked for the written test. Those who clear all the three stages of selection process are given with job offer letter.

National Institute of Industrial Training (NITIE) offers PG diploma courses in subjects of Industrial Engineering, Industrial Management, Information Technology Management, and Industrial Safety and Environmental Management. Graduates in Engineering/Technology are eligible for seeking admission to any of these courses. Admission to PGDIE is done on the basis of GATE score where as that for other courses on the basis of CAT.
Colleges offering M.Sc (Microbiology) course are mainly located in cities of Chennai and Coimbatore. Colleges such as S.R.M College of Arts and Science, Hindustan College of Arts and Science, and Karpagam Arts and Science College are located in these cities. Meenakshi Ramasamy Arts and Science College, Sri Ganesh College of Arts and Science, Urumu Dhanalakshmi College, etc are some of the M.Sc (Microbiology) colleges located in other parts of Tamil Nadu.
