B.Sc holders having studied Chemistry as a subject in all the three years of study cn apply for M.Sc (Chemistry) in VNIT. Admission is done either on the basis of the marks obtained in IIT JAM or written test carried out by VNIT. Questions for the entrance test are asked from topics such as Atomic Structure, Structure and Bonding, States of Matter, Electrochemistry, and Quantum Mechanics.

Prime Minister’s Fellowship Scheme for Doctoral Research is a fellowship program for Ph.D students organized by Science & Engineering Research Board (SERB) in collaboration with Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). Aspirants having registered for Ph.D in the ongoing academic year are eligible for the fellowship program. Under this scheme, a total of 100 fellowships are awarded every year. Fellowship amount given is around Rs 6 lakh per annum.

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has invited applications for Common Written Examination (CWE) for clerical staff recruitment in participating banks. Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University/institute is the qualification required. Age of the applicant must be between 20 and 28 years. IBPS CWE comprises of objective model questions from topics like reasoning, numerical ability, and general awareness.

The Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik offers Ph.D course in faculties of Medicine, Dentistry, Ayurveda, Unani, Homoeopathy and Allied Health Sciences. Admission to these courses is done on the basis of Ph.D entrance test conducted at the institute. Entrance test, conducted in objective model, comprise questions from topics such as research aptitude & methodology, teaching aptitude, reading comprehension, and logical reasoning. Open/general category candidates need to secure at least 50% marks to qualify the entrance test where as 40% marks is enough for reserved category candidates to qualify.
