Institute of Banking Personnel Selection was established as an autonomous body under the Government of India. The institute is registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860. The institute is also registered as a Public Trust under the Bombay Public Trust Atc, 1950. Initially, the institute started off as an apex institute. The main idea behind the establishment of the institute was for employment testing, training and research related to selection and management of human resources. The examination is being held together by the “Indian Institute of Technologies (IIT)” and “Indian Institute of Science (IISc)” for the Higher Education Department of “Human Resource Development Ministry” of the Indian Government. Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) is a deemed university in India with centers in Pilani, Goa, Hyderabad and Dubai. They are best known for their technical courses.
