The Institute of Management and Entrepreneurship Development came into existence in the year 1978. The institute is shortly called as IMED and it holds the pride of being one of the oldest business schools in the western part of the nation and it is the first of its kind to offer education under the University of Pune. With the recommendations of the AICET, the Government India converted the institute as a constituent unit of the Bharati Vidyapeeth University in the year 2001. Jjajjar District is one among the 21 districts in the state of Haryana and the district was carved out of the Rohtak District in the year 1997 on the 15th of July. The headquarters of the district is the town of Jhajjar, which is located at a distance of about 65kms from Delhi. When the district was established, it was called as Chhajunagar and later it was changed as Jhajjar.
