According to a recent survey conducted by Business & Management Chronicle and its online partner CAT100, certain B-Schools are identified as the best among the crowd. Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore, and Indian Institute of Management, Kolkata occupied the first three positions. Other than the top ten, rest of the colleges are categorized under the grades of A+++, A++, A+ and A.

Indian Institute of Technology, Bhuvaneswar offers excellent placement facilities to students. The placement cell functioning at the college sends invitation to the prospective company with required information on courses and students. In response to that, the company/organization sends back a job announcement form (JAF). JAF contains details on job offers like pay package, place of posting, bonus, and allowance. After verifying such details, the placement cell provide the company the date for campus visits. Pre placement training is another major responsibility of training and placement cell in IIT, Bhuvaneswar. They take great care in grooming the soft skills of the students through personality development and soft skill development programmes.

Young Banker’s Program is carried out by Axis Bank in collaboration with Amity Global Business School. The basic objective of the program is to nurture young professionals in banking. Under this program, the participants are awarded with Post Graduate Diploma in Banking Services (PGDBS) which is much equivalent to that of MBA degree. Selection of eligible candidates is made through a two stage process, aptitude test, and personnel interview. After completion of the course, students are absorbed as Assistant Manager in Axis Bank with a gross salary of Rs. 3.71 lakhs per annum.

M.Tech (Textile Engineering and Fibre Science) is one among the Post Graduate courses offered at Himachal Pradesh Technical University. Admission to this course is done either on the basis of GATE or entrance test conducted by the University. Mumbai University allows candidates to pursue MCA course through distance and open learning mode. Bachelor degree holders with a minimum of 45% marks can apply. Such students must have studied mathematics as a subject either at 12th or higher level. Admission process for eligible candidates is done on the basis of an entrance test. Algebra, probability and statistics, computer basics, computer architecture, programming in C, database management systems, etc are the main topics asked for the entrance test.

Recruitment process consist of 5 stages, Written Test – Aptitude, Written Test – Technical, Written Test – English, Group Discussion, and Technical Interview. Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) courses in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) area available in subjects of Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electrical Machines and Drives, I.C Engines, and EEE itself. HSC passed candidates in science stream can apply for B.Pharm course in Kurukshetra University. Admission process is carried out through an entrance test conducted at the University. Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Mathematics/Biotechnology/ Computer Science are the topics asked for the entrance test. The University also offers admission to M.Pharm for B.Pharm holders with a minimum of 55% marks. Admission to this course is done either on the basis of GPAT or University conducted entrance exam. Topics like Clinical Pharmacy, Pharmaceutics, and Pharmacology are asked for University conducted entrance exam.
