Islamiah College is acting as a symbol of devotion to education and love for learning of the Muslims of the city of Vaniyambadi in the state of Tamil Nadu. The institute was established by the Vaniyambadi Muslim Education Society as Islamiah Elementary School in the year 1903 and it was upgraded as a high school in the year 1912. Then in the year 1916, the society decided to establish Islamiah College for which foundation stone was laid in the same year. Therefore, the college came into existence in the year 1919 and got recognition from July 1921. The college is presently acting as an autonomous institution with affiliation from the Thiruvalluvar University located in Vellore.
