The OPENNET examination paper that every candidate has to face is a merge of 5 papers General Knowledge, Reasoning Aptitude, Mathematics, General Science and English.
Qualification for appearing in the exam:
All the candidates must need to as eligible as the criteria fixed by the Indira Gandhi National Open University. Candidates must have to pass the higher secondary examination from a renowned board or university with 50% aggregate in physics, math and chemistry. They also have to maintain the eye sight of 6/6 of each eye. One should not cross the 25 years of age. There is two years relaxation for females and five years for ST/SC candidates.
Scores and negative markings:
The total questions that are present in this paper are compulsory for all the candidates and there is no negative marking on any questions.
Mode of exam:
The Entrance Test for Diploma in Nautical Science leading to B.Sc (Nautical Science) - Mathematics (Test III) Papers is mainly a pen/pencil based exam.
Format:
The OPENNET entrance exam which is conducted by the Indira Gandhi National Open University is mainly a objective type paper.
Paper pattern:
The paper pattern is not tough and tricky. It only deals with maximum of 5 tests, under which the third one is Mathematics paper which carries the same number of questions as the other sections have which is 20. Mainly, each question carries 1 mark.
Marking:
The total marks contained by the OPNENET: Entrance Test for Diploma in Nautical Science leading to B.Sc (Nautical Science)- Mathematics (Test III) is 20. The entire exam carries 100 marks.
Schedule:
As the schedule is not fixed for a single section, candidates need to adjust the timing of each section. The total time given for the entire exam is three hours.
