Admission to M.Com degree in Mysore University is done on the basis of an entrance test conducted by the University. Indian Overseas Bank (IOB) has invited applications from graduates for the position of Probationary Officer (P.O). Graduation from any of the recognized University/institution with a minimum of 60% marks is the required qualification . Selection of eligible candidates is made through written test and interview. Written test is conducted in objective model and contains questions from topics of English Language, quantitative aptitude, reasoning, etc. Applications can be submitted online through the web portal of IOB before 29th July 2013.
Courses like M.E in Energy Engineering, M. E in Renewable Energy Sources Engineering, M.Tech in Energy Science and Technology, and M.Tech in Energy Technology are available in Energy Engineering at master’s level. These courses are made available to students through reputed institutes like National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli, Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology, University of Pune, and Rajiv Gandhi Technical University.

All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Patna has invited applications for Staff Nurse and Librarian along with various other job profiles. Candidates having B.Sc (Nursing) or post basic B.Sc (Nursing) degree can apply for the profile of Staff Nurse Grade I. Matriculation is enough to apply for Staff Nurse Grade II. Master’s degree and bachelor’s degree in Library and Information Science with 5/8 years of work experience is required for the profile of Librarian Grade I. Graduates with a minimum of 50% marks can apply for B.Ed course in Jamia Millia Islamia. Apart from these qualifications, those applying for B.Ed (Special Education) should have studied subjects like English, Geography, Chemistry, and Zoology (at least one) at graduate level. Admission of eligible candidates is made on the basis of an entrance test conducted by JMI. There are three sessions for the entrance test, general ability test, subject comprehension test, and language proficiency test.

Very recently, Silicon India has conducted a survey to select the top colleges in India offering MCA degree. According to their report, University of Pune, Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), and University of Hyderabad occupied the first, second, and third positions. The survey is based on the parameter of the performance of former students in the industry.
