Candidates having completed B.Ed course with a minimum of 55% marks can pursue M.Ed degree through distance, from Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU). Admissions are done on the basis of an entrance test conducted by the University at all India level. Questions on topics like general knowledge (related to educational matters), teaching aptitude, teaching attitude, Educational methodology, and Proficiency in one language (Hindi or English) are asked for the test.

Fee structure for M.Tech in IIT, Patna is slightly different for regular and sponsored category candidates. Regular students need to pay a total fee of Rs. 15, 771/- per semester during Ist semester where as sponsored category students must pay Rs. 35, 771/- per semester. From 2nd semester onwards, the total fee for regular students is Rs. 9,121/- per semester and that for sponsored category students is Rs. 29, 121/- per semester.

Engineering graduates in streams like Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Tele-communication Engineering can apply for campus placement in Calsoft. Eligible candidate must have obtained a minimum of 70% marks in the concerned stream of engineering. In 10th and 12th, such candidates must hold a minimum cut off percentage of 75% marks. Selection process includes written test, GD, and HR interview. Questions on DBMS, Data Structure, Networking, etc are asked for the written test.

Jamia Millia Islamia University admits candidates who have obtained 2nd class in Masters Degree with 55% marks from a recognized University to Doctor of Philosophy programme. Application forms can be downloaded from the official website of Jamia Millia Islamia. Final selection is based on Entrance Test and Interview conducted by the University.  Candidates who have obtained 50% aggregate marks and qualified the Entrance test will qualify for Interview. Central Universities Entrance Examination (CUCET) is organized by central University of Rajasthan for admission process. The exam is conducted for specific subjects in science, arts, engineering, technology, and so on. For CUCET — M.Sc (Physics) questions are asked from two parts, Part A and Part B. Part A comprise questions from topics like Analytical skills, English Language, and General awareness where as subject specific questions are asked for Part B. Syllabus for the test cover topics such as mechanics, optics, thermodynamics, statistical mechanics, quantum mechanics, x-rays, nuclear physics, and molecular spectroscopy.

Minimum qualification required to apply for the post of security guard is pass in SSC and maximum qualification is degree in any stream.
