KIIT in the name of KIIT College of Education stands for Kamrah Institute of Innovative Teaching and the institute is the latest addition to the educational institutions running under Vidyapati Sansthan, which is a registered educational society that came into existence in the year 1969.
Indira Gandhi Medical College came into existence in the year 1966 with its name as Himachal Pradesh Medical College. The college is affiliated to the Himachal Pradesh University and was approved with an intake capacity of 50 students per year for the MBBS course. Later in the year 1978, admission capacity was raised as 65 students per year and then in 1984 the name of the college has been changed as Indira Gandhi Medical College, now popularly known as IGMC. Now, the admission capacity for MBBS course offered by the college is 100 students per year and the institute began to offer PG courses in medicine from the year 1981.
High Court of Haryana and Punjab was established in the year 1966 under the jurisdiction of Punjab, Harayan and Chandigarh. The court is authorized by Constitution of India. The decisions of the counrt are appealed to Supreme Court of India. The strength of this court is 68 judges in which there is one Chief Justice, 36 Permanent Judges and 31 Additional Judges. Mr. Mukul Mudgal is the current Chief Justice of the court. He was appointed on December 2009 and he is to retire on January 3, 2011. The major objective behind the establishment of the company was to provide help to petroleum industry in India. The company is famous for successfully completeing all the 320 major projects assigned to it. The company has a branch office at Mumbai and a zonal office at Kolkata. Indian Oil Corporation Limited mainly deals in the manufacture and distribution of products such as Oil, Petroleum, Pertochemical, Natural Gas etc. The corporation was formed in the year 1964 as an il and gas industry. Mr. ranbir Singh Butola is the current chairman of the corporation. This state owned enterprise is comprises of an employee strength of total thirty five thousand personnel. The corporation is considered as the largest commercial enterprise of the country. Recently, the corporation also started the Auto LPG Dispensing Stations. Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation has a wide network of buses and the network connects villages, towns and cities in the state of AP. Each and every town of the state has its own bus depot that have administration for planning and overseeing the operations. Their service is operated in the cities of Anantapur, Tirupathi, Warangal, Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada, Karminagar and Hyderabad and even in the neighboring states of Goa, Chhattisgarh, Orissa, Maharashtra, Pondicherry, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.
