Lloyd entrance test is conducted by Lloyd Law College, for selecting candidates to B.A, LL.B programme. HSC passed candidates with a minimum of 45% marks can attend this entrance test. Questions on general knowledge, current affairs, legal aptitude, logical reasoning, and mathematics are asked for this entrance test. There is a total of 150 questions for 150 marks. Exam centers are arranged in cities of Delhi,Hyderabad, Jaipur, Lucknow, and Patna. Applications can be submitted either through online or offline mode.

Pan-India has recently conducted a survey to identify the best engineering colleges in India for the year 2013. Based on the survey report, they classified certain engineering colleges under the clusters A+++, A++, A+, and A. The clusters were allotted on the basis of different parameters which consist of affiliation, admission procedure, academic excellence, faculty, infrastructure, industry interface and placement. National Institute of Technology Himachal Pradesh, Indian Institute of Technology Tamil Nadu, BIT Sindri Jharkhand and some of the colleges rated as A+++. MLR Institute of Technology Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, and Govt. Model Engineering College Kochi Kerala were rated as A++ engineering colleges.
The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) often recruits eligible candidates for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) positions. Applicants must hold M.A or M.Sc qualification in subjects like life sciences or social sciences with at least 55% marks. The pattern of the written exam comprise of two sections. Section 1 includes aptitude based questions whereas Section II comprise of subject specific questions. It is compulsory to quality this entrance exam by scoring at least 55% marks to get selected.

Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) and Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Aided Management (PGDCM) are some of the PG diploma courses offered at IIM, Calcutta. The first stage of admission to these courses includes the category wise short listing of candidates on the basis of CAT percentile. The second stage includes selection for Personal Interview on the basis on marks scored in 10th class, 12th class and gender diversity factor. Final selection is made according to CAT score (weightage –77%), Writing Ability Test(weightage –10%), and P.I(weightage –44%).
