Malabar College of Engineering and Technology (CET) offers B.Tech courses in different engineering streams like Civil, Mechanical, Electronics and Communication, Computer Science and Automobile Engineering. Candidates can also apply for M.Tech courses in different specialization streams like Thermal engineering, Environmental engineering and Applied Electronics and Communication System. In order to get selected for B.Tech courses, it is compulsory for candidates to clear and obtain a valid score in any of the entrance examinations like AIEEE or CET–K. B.E/B.Tech graduates become eligible to apply for M.Tech courses in the concerned discipline. It is compulsory to clear Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) exam to get admission for M.Tech courses in this institute.

Graduates having obtained at least 60% marks can apply for MBA degree in SRM University. Admission is done either on the basis of CAT or on the basis of an entrance examination conducted by the University. The entrance exam consists of 20 questions each from topics like Data Interpretation, Quantitative Ability, GK, English and Reasoning. Those who qualify written exam need to appear for Group Discussion and Personal Interview as well. Campus selection process for Fidelity comprises of written test, technical interview and HR interview. Both technical as well as aptitude questions are asked for the written test. Fresh engineering graduates in stream of Information Technology, Computer Science, or ECE can participate in the written test. They should have a minimum of 70-80% marks in graduation and 80% marks in 10th and 12th class. Sound technical skills as well as communication skills are also preferred for the applicant.

Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) – Central Armed Police Force under the Ministry of Home Affairs has invited applications from Indian citizens for Sub-Inspector (Pioneer) and Head Constable (workshop) positions. Those who are applying for the post of Head Constable (workshop) should have passed matriculation and should be between the age of 18 and 25 years. Candidates interested to apply for the Sub-Inspector (Pioneer) profiles should hold a degree/diploma in Civil Engineering. Upper age limit for the profile is 30 years.
