Central Board of Secondary Education is a governmental board of education for Public and Private schools. The board has its headquarter located at New Delhi. Ministry of Human Resource and development is the parent organization of the board. The first ever education board set up in the country was Uttar Pradesh Board of High School and Intermediate Education. Later a joint board was set up in the year 1929 named Board of High School and Intermediate Education, Rajputana. Later it was renamed as Central Board of Secondary Education. Dr. B.R. Ambedkar National Institute of Technology was established in the year 1987 as an Institute of National Importance. The institute has an academic staff of more than 100 personnel. There are over three thousand five hundred students studying in the institute. Mr. Samir Kumar Das is the present Director of the institute. The institute has an urban campus spreaded over 160 acres. The institute offers various undergraduate, post graduate and doctoral programmes or courses to its students. The parent organization of the board is Ministry of Human Resource Development. The board has its headquarter located at New delhi. The board acts as a Board Of Education for public and private schools which comes under the Union Government of India. Uttar Pradesh Board of High School and Intermediate Education was the first education borad set up in the country. It later became the Central Board of Secondary education in the year 1952.
