The Jammu & Kashmir SET agency is the authority that conducts State Eligibility Test (SET) for selecting candidates for lectureship posts in different Universities and colleges in the state. Candidates must complete a post graduate degree with at least 55% marks from any institute or University recognized by UGC. This objective model test comprises of three different papers. Paper 1 will be basically to test the teaching and research aptitude of the candidate. On the other hand, Paper 2 and Paper 3 will include questions from specific subject area opted by candidates.

Some of the private scholarships offered for M.Tech students in Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay (IITB) are BG (British Gas) Fellowship, Dr. Gargi Vishnoi Memorial Scholarship, Forbes Marshall Fellowship, TCS (Tata Consultancy Services) Fellowship and CTI (Compatible Technology International). The scholarship amount and selection procedure followed for each of these scholarship programs differ. Under BG (British Gas) Fellowship, students are provided with a fellowship amount of Rs 8, 000/- per month along with a 50% of tuition fee –Rs 7, 500 (per annum).

National Entrance Screening Test (NEST) is often conducted for carrying out admissions in NISER, Bhubaneswar and University of Mumbai. The test comprises of 5 sections. The first section is a general subject section where in all candidates needs to compulsorily attend the same. The other 4 sections include questions from subject areas like Physics, Chemistry, mathematics and Biology. Candidates can select any three subjects of their choice and attend the exam. Cell Biology, Cell theory, Circulatory System and Developmental Biology are some of the main topics included in Biology. The key topics included in mathematics section consist of Logarithms, Algebra, Matrices and Binomial theorem.
Master of Science in Hospitality Administration course is one among the PG courses offered at National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT) in collaboration with IGNOU. B.Sc graduates in any subject streams like Hospitality and Hotel Administration and Hotel Management and Catering Technology can apply for this course. Selection process for this course are done on merit basis. Some of the subjects studied under the course curriculum of this course are Hospitality Management, Equipment & Materials Management, Managerial Economics, Information Management Systems & Hospitality and Labor Laws.

Research Fellow position in Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy (CCRH) is suitable for them. The salary offered for this position is Rs 20, 000/- per month. Medi Assist India Pvt Ltd often recruits candidates to the position of Medical Officer along with a monthly salary of Rs 23, 000/-.
Bio Informatics national Certification Examination is organized by the Department of Bio technology, Government of India. Any science graduate, post graduate or PhD holders with or without formal training in bioinformatics can apply for this exam. There are three papers for the exam. Paper 1 includes objective model questions for 100 marks and Paper 2 consist of 15 short answer type questions. Paper III is a practical test. It is compulsory for candidates to score at least 40% marks or higher to attend further papers.
