Admission to MCA in Birla University of Technology (BIT), Mersa is made on the basis of an online entrance test and marks obtained in 10th, 12th, and graduation. BCA or B.Sc (with Statistics/Mathematics as one of the subjects) holders with a minimum of 50% marks can apply. For the students of semester 1 and 2, total fee for tuition fee, registration fee, institute exam fee, and library fees amounts to Rs. 70500/- per semester.

Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, Indore organizes common entrance test for selecting candidates in to different undergraduate and post graduate courses. The entrance exam is different for courses after 10+2 (which is categorized under Group –B and Group –C ) and courses after graduation (which is categorized Group-A and Group D). The entrance exam will be carried out in objective model. For both Group –A and Group – B, a total of 75 questions will be included from subject areas like data interpretation, quantitative ability, logical reasoning, English and GK.

Jawaharlal Nehru National College of Engineering (JNNCE) offers B.E courses in streams like Telecommunication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and Electronics and Communication Engineering. Post graduate level courses include MCA, MBA and M.Tech courses in streams like Network and Internet Engineering, Transportation Engineering and Management and Digital Electronics and Communication Systems. Admission for B.E courses are based on COMEDK score. On the other hand, to get admission for M.Tech, MCA and MBA course candidates need to qualify PGCET exam.
Governmental bodies like Board of Research in Nuclear Sciences (BRNS), Atomic Energy Regulatory Board, and Ministry of Urban Development offer scholarships for M.Tech students in IIT, Bombay. BRNS fellowship students can avail amount of Rs. 20,000/- per month along with amounts for contingency and educational material allowance. The minimum qualification required to apply for Permanent Commission in Indian Army is a 12th class in science stream with at least 70% marks. The selection procedure essentially consists of Services Selection Board (SSB) interview including 3 stages such as - Psychological Test (Intelligence Test), Group Test and Personal Interview. Those who clear all these 3 stages of selection should necessarily qualify medical test as the very next stage of selection.
