Indian Institute of Technology, Mandi was established in the year 2009 as an education and research institution. Mr. Timothy A. Gonsalves is the Director of the institute. The institute has campus spreaded over an area of 520 acres in Kamand. The institute is an autonomous body which is the youngest Indian Institute of Technology in India. The institute was established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. The permanent campus of the institute is under construction along Uhl River. Rewa Sidhi Gramin Bank was established in the year 1976 under Government of India. The main idea behind the establishment of the bank was to uplift the weaker sections and playing an important or pivotal role in the rural development. The area of the bank covers three districts named Rewa, Sidhi and Singrauli. The bank is sponsored by Union Bank of India. The bank is located at Pili Kothi, Rewa, Madhya Pradesh. The bank maily aims to provide best banking facilities to the people of rural areas. Upliftment of the weaker sections, is the major objective of the bank. The headquarters of the bank is located in the city of Rewa in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. The branches of the bank is located in different districts in Madhya Pradesh like Singrouli, Mangawon, Rewa and Sidhi, the bank was established with the objective of upliftment of rural section of community.

Hindi is not only the national language of India, but it is also acting as the language of masses. According to the census conducted in the year 2001, about 41% of the Indian population speaks Hindi, which includes both standard form Hindi and it dialects. There are about 30 dialects of languages spoken in major Hindi speaking Indian states like Chhattisgarh, Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Uttaranchal, Haryana and Delhi. There is Hindi Fortnight/Hindi Week/Hindi Day being observed by the Central Government in the month of September every year for promotion of usage of Hindi.
