Odisha Common Entrance Test is conducted for admission to 1st semester diploma in engineering /technology/ 1st semester or 1st year diploma in non –engineering or to 3rd semester diploma in engineering/technology under the scheme of lateral entry. Admission to M.E courses in Punjab University is carried out on the basis of PUCET (Punjab University Common Entrance Test). Eligible candidate must have completed B.E or B.Tech course in the respective stream with a minimum of 60% marks. On the other hand GATE qualified candidates with a valid score can seek admission without attending PUCET.

ITM University offers M.Tech courses in streams like Thermal Engineering, Structural Engineering, Software Engineering, Embedded Systems, Civil Engineering, VLSI Design and Automobile Engineering. Eligible students can follow 2 different methods to submit applications for admission. First is an online application process in which the candidate can submit applications through the web portal of the University. In second method, students can download applications from University portal and can submit the filled up forms through offline method.
