Indian Institute of Technology (IIT –Roorkee) offers two categories of summer internship programs to candidates for a total duration of 6-8 weeks. “Category –A” internship program can be applied by B.Tech (CSE and ECE) stream graduates. On the other hand, “Category – B” internship program can be availed by B.Tech (CSE) stream graduates. It is compulsory for students to study B.Tech course in any of the government or government funded institutes to apply for both the categories of internship programs.

National Institute of Technology Calicut (NITC) has invited applications for M.Sc (Physics) entrance exam. B.Sc (Physics or Mathematics) graduates with at least 60% marks can submit applications till May 3, 2013. The syllabus of the exam include questions from subject areas like mathematical methods, solid state physics, devices and electronics, mechanics and general properties of matter, modern physics, oscillations, waves and optics, kinetic theory, thermodynamics and electricity and magnetism.
