The Birla Institute of Technology & Science (BITS), Pilani is one of the most prestigious institutes of India. It is one of the best institutes in the country for higher studies. The institute offers Bachelor of Engineering as an integrated first-degree program. The nomenclature of the degrees is B.E(Hons). There are many more courses offered in the field of Science, Pharmacy, Technology, Humanities and Management by the institution.

Admission for B.E (Hons) in BITS Pilani

The institute conducts Birla Institute of Technology & Science Admission Test BITSAT for the entire integrated course. The minimum requirement to appear for this test to have pass the 12th in 10 + 2 pattern or any equivalent course from a recognized institute. Another requirement is to have a minimum of 80% aggregate marks in the core subjects. The core subjects are Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. It is necessary for the candidates to obtain a minimum of 60% in each of the core subjects individually. The entrance test is conducted on a national level. The candidates are admitted on the basis of the ranks obtained in the entrance test and the academic marks. The institute also provides direct admissions to those candidates who top the state or central boards. For such students, the score of BITSAT is not taken in to consideration.

The candidates can submit the application form for BITSAT through the official website of the institution. The fees before submitting the form can be paid online. The usual time of availability of form is in the month of May.
