Odisha Joint Entrance Exam (OJEE) is conducted by the Policy Planning Body (the authority recommended by Government of Odisha) for carrying out admission to technical and professional educational institutions of the country. Most of the colleges accepting OJEE score are located in the city of Bhubaneswar. Gandhi Institute for Technological Advancement (GITA), Bhubaneswar Engineering College, Silicon Institute of Technology, etc are some of such colleges. Colleges located in other cities are Ajay Binay Institute of Technology, Balasore College of Engineering and Technology, and Gandhi Institute of Computer Studies.

Diploma in Broadcast Journalism, Diploma in Mass Media, Diploma in Radio Journalism, etc are some of the courses available at diploma level. PG diploma courses are available in subjects like Defense Journalism, Media Management, and Business Journalism. Certificate Courses in subjects of Journalism and Mass Media is offered for interested students.

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT – Bombay) invites applications for Master of Design (M.Des) course in streams like Product design/Industrial design, Interactive design, Animation and Visual Communication. Graduate degree in engineering, architecture or interior design is the basic qualifications required to apply. It is compulsory for candidates to have a valid CEED score card. Selection process will include a separate written exam and personal interview organized by IIT, Bombay.

Maharashtra State Eligibility Test (SET) is organized by Pune University in behalf of Government of Maharashtra.  There will be three papers for Maharashtra SET (Physics). Paper 1 is a general paper that includes questions on teaching and research aptitude. The main topics included in Paper II are - Vector calculus, Vector algebra Photon and Particle detectors, Oscilloscopes,  Data analysis Curve fitting and Linear Algebra. Paper III comprise topics like Nuclear and Particle Physics Multivibrators, Microwave Oscillators, Bipolar junction transistor, Field effect transistor and Isopin.

Union Bank has invited applications for Specialist Officer Posts like - Assistant General Manager, Economist, Printing Technologist, Company Secretary and Credit Officers. For Managerial posts, B.E/B.Tech or M.Tech candidates having specialization in subjects like CSE, Electronics and ECE can apply. Graduates with a minimum of 60% marks can apply for ‘Security Officer’ position. Similarly, the eligibility criteria for all the other mentioned positions vary accordingly.

In order to apply for Odisha Joint Entrance examination, candidates need to follow an online application procedure by logging in to their official website. Prior to the submission of online applications, it is necessary to deposit the application fees specified. There are options such as - Debit card or Credit card, Net Banking facility and Cash payment facility for fee payments. The online applications need to be filled in accurately by entering details correctly. After submission of the same, an online confirmation page will be generated. Candidates need to take printout of the confirmation page and send the same to the specified address via speed post before last date.

Candidates must complete 12th class with subjects like Biology, Chemistry and Physics to attend B.Sc Nursing entrance exam organized by Banaras Hindu University. It is compulsory for candidates to score at least 50% marks in HSC (40% marks for reserved group candidates) to apply. The entrance exam comprises objective model questions of 100 numbers from the three main subject areas - Biology, Chemistry and Physics. Only those candidates who are able to score 50% cut off marks in this entrance exam will be selected for counseling process.

Guru Jambheshwar University of Science & Technology (GJUST) offers bachelor level courses like B.Pharm, B.Tech and Bachelor of Physiotherapy. Apart from this, the University offers M.Sc, M.Pharm, M.Tech, and Master of Physiotherapy in diverse areas of specializations. Fee structure varies with course. Total fee for B.Tech courses is Rs. 50,000/- per annum where as that for M.Pharm is Rs. 70,000/- per annum.
