Jawaharlal Nehru Scholarships for PhD is basically awarded for two main student categories - Indian National students for PhD study in India and Students other Asian countries for Ph.D. study in India which is for a period of 2 years. Jaypee Institute of Information Technology (JIIT) organizes entrance exams to select eligible candidates for B.Tech (Chemical Engineering) through lateral entry scheme. National Institute of Bank Management (NIBM) is an autonomous institution run by RBI in collaboration with Government of India. Post-Graduate Programme in Banking and Finance (PGPBF) is a 2 year course offered by NIBM. Syllabus of the course includes topics like managerial economics, econometric methods, management of bank lending, financial derivatives, and corporate governance & business ethics. Graduates can seek admission to the course on the basis of CAT score, GD, and interview.
BBA in Banking, B.Sc in Banking and Finance, M.Com in Financial Management, and MBA in Banking and Taxation are some of the banking courses offered in India. International universities like University of Southampton, Charles Sturt University, and University of Liverpool also offers a variety of banking courses. B. Sc in Banking and Finance, M.Sc in Banking and Risk , Ph.D in Business Administration - Banking and Finance, and Bachelor of Business and Commerce in Banking and Finance are some among them.
B.S Abdur Rahman Crescent Engineering College offers B.E courses in subjects of Civil, Mechanical, CSE, ECE, Electrical and Electronics, and Instrumentation and Control Engineering. MCA and M.Sc graduates in streams like Computer Science, Information Technology and Electronics are also eligible. Applicants must have obtained a consistent score (minimum) of 60% marks from 12th till graduation/post graduation without any back log papers. Selection procedure comprise of written test, GD and interview. Aptitude based questions from subjects like Mathematics, English and Reasoning will be asked for the written exam.
Indian Institute of Technology (IIT – Bombay) often grants summer internship for computer science students. Duration of the program is 8 weeks. Selection of eligible candidates is done on the basis of their academic performance, reputation of the institute (where they are studying), and major technical accomplishments.
