Some of the topics covered under the syllabus of UGC NET (Commerce) exam are - Business Environment, Financial and Management Accounting, Elasticity of Demand, Sampling Methods and Errors, Principles of management, Marketing Management, Working capital Management, Recruitment and Selection, Banking and Financial Institutions and International Business.

The institute offers B.Tech in streams like Mining/Mechanical/ Civil/Chemical engineering. The selection process for Constable/Driver Recruitment in CISF includes 4 main levels such as Eligibility test, Physical Efficiency test, Written & Trade Test and Medical examination. Those who are capable of clearing all these 4 levels of selection will be finally selected. Candidates need to take up an offline application process for these posts. It is compulsory to pay an examination fee of Rs 50/- before submitting the application. The filled in application form along with the fees and other important documents need to be submitted to the specified address. The tentative date for submitting applications is 9th April, 2013.

In order to apply for Amrita Engineering Entrance Examination, it is essential to complete 12th class studies with not less than 60% marks. Also, engineering diploma holders who have scored a minimum aggregate of 60% marks can apply. The pattern of the exam will be objective format with a total of 120 questions from key subject topics like Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Exam centers are arranged in states of Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Orissa, Madhya Pradesh, Assam, Andhra Pradesh, Delhi, Maharashtra and Bihar.
