The Institute of Liver & Biliary Sciences (ILBS) is an institute established by Govt of National Territory of Delhi. It is an autonomous institute. There are several post graduate medical courses offered by this institute for the aspirants. The medical courses offered by this institute are approved by Medical Council of India. The main courses offered by the institute are DM Hepatology and MCh Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary (HPB) surgery. The duration of the courses are three years. United States Medical Licensing Examination targets on attaining medical license in United States. Subordinate Services Commission was re-designated as Staff Selection Commission (SSC) on 26th September, 1977. Making recruitment to Group C and Group B posts in departments of Government of India is the main responsibility of SSC. Nine regional/sub-regional offices located at different states of India consitutes the network of Staff Selection Commission. Staff Selection Commission was initially incorporated with the name of Subordinate Services Commission under Government of India. The commission was set up on July 1, 1976 and started functioning under the Department of Personnel & Training. The commissin actually came into existence for making recruitment on zonal basis for non technical Group C posts under the Central Government. The commission has also been allowed to make recruitment for Group B and Group C posts under the Cnetral Government. The commission comprises of a Chairman, a secretary cum Controller of Examinations and two other members.
