Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology (NSIT) offers B.E courses in specific disciplines - CSE, ECE, IT, Biotechnology etc. To get admission for B.E course, candidates need to qualify in AIEEE. Final selection of eligible candidates is done after evaluating AIEEE score and 12th class marks. This institute also offers M.Tech courses in different disciplines like signal processing, process control, and information system. Admissions are done on the basis of GATE score and interview/viva voce conducted at the institute.
UPSC has invited applications for Civil Services Exam 2013 and eligible candidates can submit applications till April 4th. Selection test comprises of preliminary and main exam papers. Preliminary Test, conducted in objective model include questions on general aptitude, World Geography, Indian Polity , History of India , General Science, Demographics and so on. For mains exam, there will be 7 conventional type papers, covering questions on English language and general studies.
OPJEMS Scholarship is an award given to engineering or management students, with an objective of promoting the academic and leadership skills in students. The scholarship amounts to Rs 1, 25,000/- for Management students and Rs 65, 000/- for engineering graduates. Selection for this scholarship program will be done through an online leadership test and personal interview.
