The history of Patna Training College dates back to 1908, when three other training colleges in the cities of Bombay, Calcutta and Decca were also established in the years 1906, 1908 and 1910 respectively. This college is operating as a constituent unit of Patna University with Department of Education and Women’s Training College, which are jointly constitute the Faculty of Education of Patna University. Initially, the college was affiliated to the Calcutta University and later it came under the jurisdiction of Patna University.
Shridevi Institute of Management Studies was established by the Shridevi Charitable Trust with the objective of offering the best quality education to students belonging all sections of society. The institute is offering management education with affiliation from the Tumkur University. The institute began its educational journey in the year 2009 and it is approved by the All India Council of Technical Education.

Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority was formed in the year 1975 under the Jurisdiction of Government of Maharashtra. The headqaurter of the authority is located at Mumbai. The authority is mainly responsible for the development of infrastructure of the Mumbai Metropolitan region. The authroity came into existence under the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority Act, 1974. The chairman of the authority is Prithviraj Chavan, who is the Minister of Urban Development in Maharashtra.
